My last day of group editing was today. Because we had spent the prior day organizing the edits, my group felt confident going into this. Priorities come first. Ely received tasks from my group. She would insert the split screen, my group determined. She would then start the music. Finally, Ely would modify footage in accordance with the music. Trevor would then finish the frozen screen. She didn't have enough time in the last lesson to learn the freeze screen. She therefore acquired it by taking this class. My turn came next. My colleagues and I agreed that I would take care of the final inspection and add finishing touches. While I was helping everyone with their allotted chores, I also offered advice. Then, my crew enlisted other reviewers to go through our work. My group heard several viewpoints. both positive and negative. However, the new version solved a lot of the issues and challenges that we had. Following this, my group learnt a lot. the right and wrong things to do. and...
We started filming the second scene over the weekend. It was hard to get my group all together at one time. Many times I had work. Trevor was out of town for a few days. While ely was free. Ayden was with his family. Other times we wanted to film when I had work and I couldn’t. Trevor and ely filmed some the parts without me. Although they didn’t finish all of them they still accomplished a lot. I then brainstormed about how I would accomplish editing the film. My ideas were pretty good in my head. My whole group is going to probably finish filming half of the film by the end of the week. Our goals haven’t always come out how we want them. But that is what makes us a team and closer together. We knew that we weren’t going to accomplish a lot due to spring break. So, we planned ahead. We scheduled out how we could finish before the deadline. This included the editing and maybe some days that we thought we could film but ended up not being able to. We then gathered all of our props...
So we wrapped up the filming. All that's left to do now is edit. I began by trimming our clips to the appropriate length. I followed the advise of the individual who had a viewpoint. The brightness was corrected. I changed the angles. I had trouble getting the hang of using iMovie at first. I thus explored several editing programs. I ultimately preferred iMovie and decided to stick with my previous choice. I struggled to choose the right music. I also didn't want to use copyright music. I struggled for two hours to come up with some tense background music. My group was watching our clips as I was editing. I was aware that my group wouldn't complete editing today.A ton of editing tutorial videos were viewed by my group. Developing a stronger bond with my group has been my favorite aspect of this endeavor thus far. They are all juniors, although I am a sophomore, so at first I was afraid, but they were extremely polite to me. I'm pleased my group and I grew closer since i...
