AICE Media Studies

 This was an amazing experience. I loved working with my group. I enjoyed being able to have the freedom with picking my group. I also was excited about how it was gonna turn out. This was definitely my favorite thing that we have done in this class. I enjoyed the creativity I got to express. My overall favorite thing about this was being able to spend time with my class mates. I learned how to fix problems while everyone is happy. I learned how to edit and be able to film with different angle. Finally, I made new friends and got to explore our campus. 

 Today was our second day of editing. I was confident going into this. Our group got straight into it.We each wanted to do something different. We first made a plan on how we were going to conquer this day. how we were not going to waste any time.  We realized that some clips were too long or short so we adjusted them. We had difficulties with the music. Each of our group members didn't know how to add music to iMovie. We researched everywhere on how to add music. We also had questions about if the music would be copy righted. We got over this problem by following a tutorial on how to add music. The next problem we had was trying to figure out what song to play. At first we put the song "Pompeii" but it didn't go along with the clips. We kept trying with different music. None of them were working. We struggled and practically spent the whole class period finding a song that would match the clips. We finally found one and added it to our slides. It was our first day of editing. My team and I worked very hard on editing today. Today I edited our blog. I took my time and did transitions. I reaserched many transition ideas. I got very frustrated when I didn’t know how to do something. I looked many things up. I worked my way around things and it all ended up good.  Our group had little experience with editing.I added music as well as cut out a few things that shouldn’t have been in the shot. I then discussed with my group on how we would make it more interesting. we added a phrase at the end of the commercial. We used many of each other’s ideas. We had difficulty with what each of us would do. We speed up some cuts. We slowed down some cuts. I put in a lot of work to make this the best commercial ever. Then ended up going back to the beginning and making last minute changes. Then we finished it off by editing the ending.

 today we filmed many things. we planned on how we were going to achieve it all in 1 period. we discussed the time we were going to have to edit. we filmed different angles today. we filmed katie and I about to play. we filmed katie about to trip me and score. this took many shots. we overcame as a team and switched filmers every shot . We then came back and started editing. It was a problem at first. No one knew how to edit our film. We overcame this by watching videos on how to edit. We worked on almost 1/4 of our commercial. We also planned on how to manage our time and not wait to the last minute to edit. we said that we could do a little each day and work ahead and not be stressed with the work. Finally we finished editing and filming for our first part of our plan. Over all my feeling about this commercial so far is good. I feel like we put effort and time into it. We spent time planning and planning on how we would do the shots and what we would do and how we would do it. If i w
