AICE Media Studies

 

 This was an amazing experience. I loved working with my group. I enjoyed being able to have the freedom with picking my group. I also was excited about how it was gonna turn out. This was definitely my favorite thing that we have done in this class. I enjoyed the creativity I got to express. My overall favorite thing about this was being able to spend time with my class mates. I learned how to fix problems while everyone is happy. I learned how to edit and be able to film with different angle. Finally, I made new friends. 

  Today my grouped edited for the last day. My group went into this with confidence because of the previous day spent planning the editing. First things first. My grouped assigned tasks to Katie. my group decided she would insert the split screen. Next she would in-bed the music. Finally Katie would ujust clips  based on the music. next, Maya would complete the freeze screen. last class she didn't have enough time to lean the freeze screen. So doing this class she learned it. next it was my turn. my group and I decided that I would do the final look and make minor details. while I also made suggestions and helped everyone with there assigned tasks. Then, my group asked many people to review our project. my group  got different opinions. some good and some bad. But, new fixed many downfalls and obstacles that came in our way. after this my group learned so much. things to do and not to do. and to make sure no mistakes are made it the future. 

  Today my group edited. Or I guess you can say learned how to edit. None of my group had any clue how to edit. Last project was a struggle because my group had no clue what they were doing. This project my group was still new on what had to be done. Editing was not part of a strengths. First I started looking up editing apps. Next Mya looked up videos on how to do split screens. Next Katie learned how to combine clips. While this was all happening Augustin was still reviewing the clips. He making sure they were ready to be edited. My group knew we weren’t gonna finish editing because there was so much to do. But even with that being known I paused through. I continued to look for editing apps the. Proceeded to come back to iMovie. I wanted to use a different app then we used last project. I didn’t like it but wanted to stick with the safe option. Next, Mya found out how to do the split screen. She worked on it for more then an hour and finally perfected it. During this Katie was cutti

  Today my group finished the filming part. Last time my group had to stop because one of our actors had to leave. The actors came to our filming spot this day and my group got straight to work. Since this was a different day my group still had to get ready. It took around 45 min to get ready which took a lot of our time. My group also planned on how my group would approach it. After reviewing the previous days shots i noticed some errors. Reviewing those shots was a great idea. One of my group mates had to re film there angle they had been in. When my group finally got settled we began to film. Having a couple scenes left to film. This day was easier than expected. Once the scene with Augustin and Katie was filmed all my group had to do was a few more scenes. There was a few things that went wrong though. There was wine in the video and background. This is not allowed so i took it out and filmed it again. After that I Had to find a person to film all of this. It was a struggle because

Today we filmed. It was a bright sunny day and a perfect day to film. I was so excited to get started. The first thing I did was get ready to film. I brushed my hair and got the two outfits i needed. The first thing my group filmed was maya putting on makeup as she is shown getting ready. Next, Katie is shown blow drying her hair. Finally, i am shown picking out the two outfits. I forgot to bring my costume this day and was struggling to find an outfit. Thankfully Katie helped me and found me an outfit that would fit me. I was stressing out that this wouldn’t turn out the way i wanted. I was getting frustrated with my group. Alot of things weren’t going my way. I stopped and thought to my self that’s how things go and to stop worrying. We continued filming different angles and shots.My group took a lot of time to get ready and i thought that time would run out. My group was rushing.I knew this was gonna happen, Maya had to leave.So my group planned on filming the rest the next day. My
